    Oil prices close in on $68 per barrel

    Crude oil continued its recent price increase Thursday with a run at the $68-per-barrel mark on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

    Prices for high-quality crude for May delivery rose 78 cents to $67.85 per barrel, and natural gas was up 16 cents to $7.23 per million Btu.

    Gasoline climbed 4 cents to $1.99 per gallon, and heating oil was up nearly 2 cents to $1.8554 per gallon.
