Promoting Selling Of Flowers

Bandar Seri Begawan - To promote the selling of flowers among locals, the Department of Agriculture in the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources has constructed 30 stalls at the Horticulture Centre in Rimba, Gadong.

Available' are flowers and fruit plants like durian, rambutan, mangoes and others, and fertiliser for customers. A water pond surrounds the sitting huts planted with flowers.

The place is suitable for family gatherings, said Awg Yacub, a frequent visitor.

To attract the public, there should be a canteen serving food and drinks, he added.

The area is spoiled by people burning rubbish in the recreational park, he said.
